Next Games and AMC, have announced their plans to integrate the official mobile game for the hit TV show The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land, with the show’s seventh season. The partnership will introduce a first-of-its-kind experience where new weekly playable content is unlocked in-game in real time. This means that fans of the show will be able to unlock exclusive weekly content such as new playable characters that have appeared on the show, as well as special bonus themes and behind-the-scene videos directly in the game.
Teemu Huuhtanen, the CEO of Next Games explained,
“A game and a TV show have never been integrated in quite this way before, and we owe it to all the incredible support The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land received during its first year. We’re excited to work with AMC to expand the connections between the worlds of the TV series and game, giving fans an experience that continues to stay true to the show they love.”
New playable content will be unlocked in The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land on Mondays, starting October 24, 2016 (the date of the Season 7 premiere). Nearly 15 million players have joined the life and death struggle of The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land, while experiencing the thrilling series through official characters including: Michonne, Daryl, Rick and more.
Walking Dead fans can download the game on the App Store and Google Play. The game is also available for iPhone and iPad on the iTunes store. Learn more here.
